About me...
I'm Mike Crouthamel, owner of Farmer's Grain Systems, LLC. I was born and raised in northern Boone County, IA where I poked my first bin bolt at age 14, when I wasn't walking beans for area farmers. After high school, I joined the service where I served in the Persian Gulf and am a US Navy Veteran. Nothing makes a person miss family and people from Iowa like leaving for a few years. After returning to Iowa and college, I came back to bin building, learning the service trade, and building relationships, one job at a time.
After 16+ years of building, installing, repairing, updating, and servicing everything from grain bins, dryers, and a wide variety of grain handling equipment, it was time to continue and expand with my own company. Give us a try, you'll be glad you did. Ask my customers why they stick with someone they can rely on, year in and year out.
Call me anytime for honest, no bull answers to your drying, storage, or grain handling questions. I pride myself in being straight forward and do not play smoke and mirrors or beat around the bush.
